Please describe your job as Junior People Experience & Workplace Manager at Seven Senders!
As Junior People Experience and Workplace Manager, I am in charge of both workplace and event management, ensuring that the office runs smoothly and that events are strategically planned every quarter to improve people's engagement and foster connections in the workplace, both on-site and virtually.
On a daily basis, I operate the entire office, from ensuring that employees have the necessary tools for their jobs to overseeing the office kitchen or stationery supplied, communicating with all suppliers, building facilities to ensure Seven Senders receive updates that affect office life, and designing infrastructure to meet the needs of everyone. I believe that no task is too small if it may have an impact and help others work efficiently in their jobs.
For people's experience, I am responsible for organizing and designing company events. Our team publishes the event calendar quarterly to ensure everyone is upfront about transparency and individual working schedules in this new flexible working setup. Events are inspired by company initiatives and cultural perspectives to cultivate an inclusive and enjoyable work environment at Seven Senders.
What is the thing you love the most about your role?
I could say a million things about what I love in this job, but if I had to choose one, it would be "people." As a people enthusiast, "people" means everyone I interact with, including Seven Senders employees, vendors, customers, and visitors who walk into the office. I enjoy that my work is at the forefront of people-oriented initiatives. Being able to be all ears and eyes is a blessing for learning about different cultures and their unique differences.
Every day feels like I'm reading Cultural Book 101, and this motivates me to advocate for a working community that is welcoming and inclusive, where everyone feels heard and valued.

What does Pride Month mean to you personally?
As a community insider, Pride Month means Pride every day, which represents love, acceptance, education, and celebration. Promoting equality should not be limited to June, as you are free to be who you want to be whenever and wherever. Pride allows for openly expressing, loving, and embracing oneself. I believe that a diverse and inclusive atmosphere, particularly inside an organization, creates an environment of invention and creativity that is as important as the company's business.
