What was the motivation or impulse for Seven Senders to build this tool?
In this industry, there is an ever-growing demand for real-time and instant access to data analytics. So, we wanted to meet that demand by leveraging the advanced AI technologies that are emerging all around us and using them to offer an innovative solution that not only meets our customers’ need for data visibility but also enhances this.
In the big picture, the motivation to build this tool was to empower our customers to take full advantage of their shipping data and use it to their competitive advantage. Shippers who work with us have a huge internal database with a massive amount of data points, but to really use that data to optimize their logistics operations, they need a fast, accurate, and easy-to-use tool that can access data at any time and from anywhere.
What are the main benefits of 7S ParcelAI for shippers and how can it help e-commerce retailers optimize their logistics operations?
One of the main benefits is that the entry point to using the tool is very low - no one needs any advanced data analytics skills. With our tool, users can ask questions about their shipping data using natural language, meaning they can ask just like they would ask a colleague who knows the data, like your business analyst; there is no need for a specific kind of prompt.
The second big benefit is the opportunity to enhance operational efficiency, as users can get real-time updates and KPI calculations. I would also say that this improved visibility and control over shipment processes also has the potential to improve customer satisfaction. Definitely! AI-powered data analytics has so much potential. We are already working on the capability to include lead time calculations so customers can get an overview of delivery speed across all their carriers and countries. Other potential future plans include enhanced customization options so users can tailor the data insights and reports to their specific needs, such as chat history, most frequently asked questions, and prompt templates.
We work very closely with our customers and ask for their feedback regularly so we can understand their user experience, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that 7S ParcelAI continues to meet their needs. These insights will directly influence the development and refinement of the next iterations of the product. We are really shaping this product together with our customers - which is great because the data is theirs to use to the best advantage!
